Team Culinera
The Offer
Culinera are really excited to welcome you to the brand new restaurant at Salesian School.
We have re-vamped the restaurant and created an offer full of variety and freshness. All of our food options are hand made from the talented teams at each school. You will be able to choose from a wide range of hot and cold options which have been freshly cooked each day! Options include our showcase WOW main courses, stretched ‘sourdough’ pizza, hot pots, fruit, and layered desserts. We have lots of vegan, vegetarian options as well as free form items.
Students will have access to the restaurant at breakfast, break and lunch time. They will have the flexibility to purchase a variety of items including hot and cold meal deals as well as snack and breakfast items (at break time).
Students who are entitled to Free School Meals can have ANY two items (apart from two cakes) at lunch time. We have not forgotten our Sixth Formers – we have an all-day offer coming your way with speciality coffee, deli style service as well as main meals.
We have a plan in place to make each outlet shine so watch this space!
Do you have a special diet or allergy?
At Culinera, we train and develop our team to ensure they know all about allergens. Look out for the team members wearing a pink badge – this means they are an Allergy Champion and can help you make the right choice.
We use a wide of range of ingredients which means there may be traces of various allergens present across our product range.
We are here to help – so any questions just ask our Chef or Allergen Champion.
We are a cashless
caterer
You will need to be registered on ScoPay if you or your child wishes to purchase any items from the restaurant. Your child will not be able to purchase items in the dining halls without sufficient credit on their account and they will not be able to pay for items using cash or cheque at the time of purchase.
Once you have paid for meal credit, you will see a ‘Dinner money balance’ next to the child’s name. Please note, if you have more than one child, you will need to purchase credit for EACH of your children for them to be able to purchase meal items. A daily spend limit has been set at £8.50 per day, if you would like this to adjusted, please speak to the school finance office.
We accept ApplePay, AndroidPay and card payments in the sixth form.

ParentPay Q&A and support
ParentPay Q&A and support
Q: I am having problems with Parent Pay – what should I do?
A: ParentPay have a dedicated area for parents to request support. https://www.parentpay.com/parent-account-faqs/
If you still require help, you should contact the school office.
Q: I am not seeing the money I have paid onto ParentPay on my school meals account, or it says I am overdrawn, when I shouldn’t be. (All Years)
A: We use ParentPay to collect school dinner money and to allow for pre-ordering. ParentPay is also used by the school to pay for school activities, trips etc. When you top up money through ParentPay, you can either pay when selecting your meals which will automatically assign the funds to your catering account. If you add money from the home screen it will only assign the money to ParentPay, you then need to click on this transaction and assign it to your school dinner account. Otherwise the money will just simply stay on the main ParentPay account which neither Culinera or the School have access to.
Q: My child has an allergy or dietary need. (Years 1-6 only)
A: You must inform Culinera using the following form: https://www.culinera.co.uk/allergies This needs to be done even if the school and the previous caterers had this information. Once this form is submitted, the Culinera team will be happy to discuss any dietary needs with you and come back to you with more information.
